I am a Self-Belief and Empowerment Coach for women in their 30's who don't believe in themselves and are ready to rebuild their confidence.

My vision is to empower women to believe they are more than what they have been told they are.

My mission is to provide accessible and ethical coaching to support 1000 women to believe in themselves and build strength in all areas of life through integrity, connection, and empowerment.

My values and that of my coaching practice

Integrity

Integrity, defined as the alignment of actions and words, is a fundamental tool for accountability. It enables me to hold myself accountable and maintain transparency with everyone I work with. Without integrity, trust is impossible. Trust, especially as a coach, is vital. It allows the people I work with to open up and be honest about their abilities, thoughts, and beliefs, which is essential for overcoming obstacles, making progress, and moving forward.

I used to believe that simply having supportive beliefs made me a good person and an advocate for women. However, I realised that my feelings and thoughts alone didn't effect change beyond friendly conversations. It wasn't until I began taking tangible actions, such as volunteering as a mentor and becoming a part of  a regular giving program, that I truly felt aligned with my values. My actions became congruent with my words and thoughts, embodying integrity in practice.

Connection

For me, connection means being seen and heard, a sense of belonging, belief and acceptance without judgement. Growing up with an abusive step-parent and being turned out from my family home at 16 left me feeling disconnected, unaccepted, and not believed.

I place immense importance on connection because I know firsthand how painful it is to lack it.  Navigating a divorce had its own set of challenges and was a true reminder of not only connection with others but the importance of connection to myself.  For the people I work with, feeling connected fosters openness and honesty, creating a brave space where they can express themselves fully. This value is deeply rooted in my personal experiences and the profound impact of feeling truly connected.

Empowerment

Empowerment is at the core of my coaching philosophy. It involves guiding people to become stronger and more confident, both physically and mentally, enabling them to take control of their lives. Through my coaching, I empower clients to see their potential and challenge them to push beyond their limits.

My dedication to empowerment is deeply personal.  Embarking on the journey of IVF and grappling with hyperemesis gravidarum, I confronted the stark reality of how disempowering these experiences could be. Experiencing the isolation brought on by fertility issues, loss and grief further distanced me from family and friends, making me acutely aware of the importance of reclaiming control and building inner strength and reflecting it outwardly.

Through Vedic Meditation, I nurtured resilience within, and through strength training, I aimed to externalise that resilience.  Where effort equals the outcome, strength training became a representation of how I wanted to be seen.

Strength training was a process of transformation, where each session served as a reminder of my own capacity for growth and empowerment providing a sense of agency.

By fostering this sense of empowerment, I help people gain the confidence and strength needed to navigate their lives with autonomy and resilience. I believe in their right to determine their own paths, access opportunities, and utilise resources to achieve their goals.

I believe there is power in how we are seen, there is power in how we see others, and there is power in how we see ourselves. My approach is about challenging you to push beyond your limits and embrace the control you have over your own life to thrive.

 Inclusion Statement

I acknowledge the Gadigal of the Eora Nation, the Traditional custodians of this land, and pay my respects to the Elders both past and present.  Over many years I have witnessed how traumatising celebrating Australia Day on 26th January is for Indigenous people. During this time, I questioned my own feminism and integrity to advocate for women without also advocating for marginalised women. I knew I couldn't stand for women without standing for ALL women.

As a white, cis-het, able bodied and educated woman, I want to use my privilege to have a positive impact. I acknowledge the advantage I have had and the systemic inequities Black, Indigenous and People of Colour face. Regardless of ethnicity or ability, I believe you should be treated respectfully and have equal access to opportunities. I believe in celebrating all people for their similarities and differences, regardless of the identities we hold.

I’m therefore committed to establishing a business that embraces racial diversity, equity, and inclusivity. This is reflected in my commitment to providing pro bono and accessible pricing for the services I offer, in volunteering as a mentor in the ACCESS Program for the Women And Girls Emergency Centre and in joining the regular giving program for Plan International for Change for Girls.

I am actively engaged in continuous learning, having already participated in programs led by Annie Gichuru and the Beautiful You Coaching Academy.  To help me understand and support choice and control for people with disabilities I have completed the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission’s Worker Orientation Module and Supporting Effective Communication.  In addition, I am currently undertaking a private coaching series with Annie Gichuru, Racial Equity Coach.

Understanding that mistakes are inevitable on my journey of unlearning and relearning, I am committed to doing the necessary work to contribute to positive change.

Please know that although you may not see yourself represented in my work, you are welcome here and I am actively working on ensuring you feel comfortable and welcome in this space.
